1.  Life-span

The life span of LED street lights is relatively long, but due to factors such as environment and light decay, its lifespan will be affected. When buying street lights, it is necessary to know more about LED street light’s decay and life span marked by the manufacturer, generally speaking,  price will be higher if better quality, less light attenuation and longer life span,

2. LED chips

LED chip is the core part of the LED street lights. The quality of the LED chip affects the life span, brightness and light color of the LED street lights. Before buying, it is necessary to know what brand of LED chips which manufacturers are using. Generally, imported LED chips have better quality, but LED street lights using imported LED chips are quite expensive(such as Philips, Osram Samsung, etc.).

3. Warranty

Ordinary 2-3 years, 5 years for government or engineering projects with higher quality requirements.

4. Brightness

Brightness is an important factor in our choice of LED street lights. The brightness of the LED fluorescent lights we use generally reaches about 85LM/W. Generally, the higher the brightness per watt and the higher the number of lumens, the higher the price of LED street lights.

5. Light color

The more stable the wavelength, the more consistent the color, the better the quality of the LED street light.

6. Heat dissipation

The biggest factor affecting the life of LED street lamps is temperature. The lower temperature, the longer lifespan of the brightened LED street lights and the smaller the light decay. The heat dissipation of LED street lights is a recondite question, and its importance and technical difficulty are no less than that of light distribution.

7. Waterproof and dustproof

LED street lights mostly used in outdoors and are often exposed to wind and rain, so waterproof and dustproof are very important. Once the dust enters the lights, it will cause the LED street lighting effect to decrease and the brightness to decrease. If water enters, the LED street light will be scrapped, so the protection level of the LED street light should be above IP65.
